65,000 Android Phones shipping per day

Few months ago, during MWC 2010, Google's CEO, Eric Schimdt, was speaking about 60,000 Android devices shipping every day. If you were wondering if the number of sales went down, it didn't. Recently, we found out from Google's CEO about the increase to 65,000 units per day.
Although there isn't big difference from february to may, Eric Schimdt was a little bit sceptical saying "there are some reports that the number might be quite slow". Anyway in many countries Android succeeded in beating its rival, Apple, by selling more handsets.
If we consider Droid Incredible and EVO 4G coming this summer, we figure the number of sales will continue to grow. On the other side, the new iPhone from Apple hits the market also, so, we'll have to see how this will have an influence over their sales.
