Acer Liquid Posted on: October 14, 2009
After almost a year of teasing, Acer finally released it's first Androi phone, the Acer Liquid! From the picture you can instantly see it looks just like the A1 that was used to ilustrate all the rumors of an Acer Android phone.
And it looks great, but the looks are not everything: inside you'll find a 1 GHz, YEA 1GHZ!, Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, the first android phone on the market to use it, and a screen to match it: 800x480 WVGA. Capacitive, of course! Oh and a 5.0 Megapixels camera.
It rocks Android 1.6 but it will have a custom UI with all the media and social goodness you'll expect form a top Android phone.
It will be available in black, white or red at a undisclosed date and price.
Not other details revealed yet, but we'll keep you posted when they emerge. Full press release: here
