Acer Liquid Metal Posted on: September 10, 2010 [Source]
What you see in the below picture, it seems to be the new Android phone from Acer, the Liquid Metal with the entire body made of aluminium shell. According to a Russian website, the upcoming device will run Android 2.2 Froyo with Acer's custom users interface and will come in two different colors.
Technical details also surfaced about this Android-powered phone. On the inside, the Acer Liquid Metal will sport an 800 MHz MSM7230-1 processor, a camera of unspecified megapixels with a flash, 512MB of ROM, 512 MB of DDR RAM, as well as Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity.
As for the display, it will be rather small in comparison with other high ends devices, having a capacitive 3.6-inch touchscreen WVGA TFT LCD display with 800X480 resolution. Try to imagine a picture with the front of the phone, cause the the gallery photos doesn't offer any. Anyway, judging the attached picture, the Acer Liquid Metal looks pretty much like the Liquid E with a different "housing".
There are no infos about the pricing or launch date yet, but we do know it will come in both black and silver versions, so, if anyone interested in picking up an Android powered Acer phone, we'll keep them updated with details about its release time.
