Acer's event held in New York yesterday was the moment to announce its new touch-focused products. This beauty you probably got immediatly fascinate is the yet unnamed new Android phone or, should we say tablet? Calling it "100 percent smartphone. 100 percent tablet", it packs the highest resolution display in the Android phones area: a 4.8-inch 1024x480 touchscreen display. Wooow!
Combining the capabilities of a smartphone with a tablet format, this huge handset features a revolutionary design, "characterized by a stretched out, thin and slightly curved shape", as the company described it. A nice full metal body back with subtle wavy patterns make this new Android device a fashionable and innovative one that can't go unnoticed.
As for the specs, excepting the huge display, it comes equipped with an 8MP camera and LED flash, a 2MP front camera, 720p video recording, 1 GHz Snapdragon processor plus other goodies like Bluetooth 3.0, 802.11n WiFi, HSDPA support, HDMI output and a six-axis Gyroscope + accelerometer package and LED edge lighting. Sounds impressive, huh?
Wanna experience this new smartphone? You'll have to wait until next year, sometime in April, when this beast will hit the market. And still no name for it. How would you call it? Any ideas?
