500.000 Android devices activated every day

Andy Rubin, Google's chief, announced via its Tweeter account that over 500,000 Android devices are activated every day and the process is still growing. Actually, the growth is currently at 4,4% per week.
These numbers are great and show, once again, that Android has made a big leap since its launch. Who would have bet on such a success? Yes, it is growing day by day and has the resources to become bigger and bigger.
At the beginning of this year, Google had 300.00 devices activated every year, then it reached 350.000 in April and 400.000 in May. Now it has come at 500.000. And it will probably continue to grow, so we expect Android to be the dominant OS on the market.
