Intel CEO, Paul Otellini announced yesterday during the Intel Dveloper Forum that will work with Google to optimize Android Platform. While it was on the stage, Intel's spokesman was holding in his hand a new Medfield-based Android phone.
Both companies announced that they will team up to bring Intel mibile processors to the Android world. Future Android phones will support Intel architecture with Atom clan. "Combining Android with Intel's low power smartphone roadmap opens more opportunity for innovation and choice", that Andy Rubin.
No details were given about the Medfield-powered Andrpid phone, but it was running Android 2.3 Gingerbread. It looks like Intel is very busy; making a joint venture with Google plus the developing o new category of notebooks called ultrabooks.
