Android Market has a half of million published apps

According to the research2guidance firm latest data, the total number of published application in the Android Market has passed a half of milion last month. Still, over 37% of the apps have been removed from Google's store from various reasons.
Its direct competitor, Apple has had over 600,000 succesful submissions with 24% of apps that have been removed, announce the market intelligence firm's scores. Over the past months, Google's platform has reached a noticeable growth, but its app store isn't bigger than Apple's own store.
In Q3 of this year, the active mobile apps in the Android Market had 319,161 compared to 459,589 in Appe App store, stated research2 guidance's report.
