Dell Thunder

Untill now Dell hasn't been a serious contender in the Android smartphones marketplace. Things might change a little bit. After any success with the Dell Aero, it seems the company will bring a super phone running Android 2.1. According to documents leaked to Engadget, Dell strikes with the Thunder, the name of its newest Android handset.
Along with the Thunder Dell announced also a Windows Phone 7 device, the Dell Lighting, but we will focus on the Android handset. Judging by the pictured shown, the device appears to be very stylish and clean and it the phones perform as it looks, we will hear about it soon.
But, let's review its specs to can make an opinion:
- Android 2.1
- 4.1 inch WVGA OLED display
- 8 MP camera
- Swype keyboard
- Dell's "Stage"UI
- Flash 10.1 support
- Hulu app
These are supposed to be the specs, but they haven't been confirmed yet. Apparently Dell is working on other Android devices as well, so they have big plans on the mobile industry this year.
As for the Thunder, it seems will be sold on AT&T around Q4 and world-friendly HSDPA versions also. An LTE version will be available for the end of 2011. It remains to be seen what will happen with the Thunder, if it will strike strong or not.
