T-Mobile Garminfone coming on June 2 Posted on: May 25, 2010 [Source]
If you were wondering how longer you have to wait for the Garminfone to be release, we say about a week. The folks over at Engadget reported that it might arrive on June 2, as this leaked shot is pointing to us. The price announced for this Android phone is $199.99 with two year contract agreement.
Of course, those of you, who don't wanna sign up for the contract, can have the device for $599.99. Yes, you heard it well. Considering it might be the best turn-by-turn experience available on an Android handset up now, it could be a good bargain. With two year activation, maybe, so you can pay $199.99.
We remind you that Garminfone comes with a windshield mount and a car charger, running on Android 1.6 (no Froyo version available yet), a 3.5-inch capacitive HGVA display, 3MP camera, miniUSB port, 3G connectivity options. Odd is the complete lack of a headphone jack, so if you can skip this part, the handset is an interesting choice.
