Google has officially launched its online music store, Google Music, a free service for users in the United States. Challenging Apple's iTunes Store, the service will allow devices running Android OS to store and stream up to 20.000 songs from their local libraries to the cloud.
Google Music is integrated with Android Market and users can purchase 320Kbps songs after paying for $0.99 on a track. It is already available in the web market, but the actual music integration into the Android Market is not available yet.
Moreover, Google has been cworking with artists like Rolling Stones, Coldplay, Shakira or Bhusta Rhymes to offer tracks and live albums exclusively for Google Music. The service is already available online and will be joining phones and tablets in a few days.
