Dual core HTC Lead coming to AT&T? Posted on: May 17, 2011 [Source]
Rumor has it that AT&T is planning to expand its Android phones lineup with a new HTC dual core smartphone called HTC Lead. The news comes from a reliable source, Pocketnow, that brings to us a photo of the upcoming new handset.
Obtained via a leaked ROM, the specs for the HTC Lead include a large 4.3-inch WVGA display touchscreen, 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm MSM8660 processor and 768MB of RAM, a rear 5 megapixel camera on the back with no secondary front facing one. It has also 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi plus Bluetooth 3.0 and runs on Android Gingerbread.
No word on a release date, but it could see the light this summer along with a couple of other HTC devices. While the attached photo is only a mock-up, we don't think HTC Leap's design will be too different from the manufacturer's actual lineup. Keep on eye on this subject, because we'll be posting soon.
