LG Ally pre-orders start on May 13 Posted on: May 12, 2010 [Source]
We have LG getting into the Android market with its newest smartphone, LG Ally. As it was announced, it is coming in all channels on May 20 with pre-orders starting on Thursday, May 13. The folks from BGR have scored full details about the handset, so, excepting the price, we know everything there is to know about LG Ally.
Appearing as an entry-level Android handset on the Verizon network, the new LG Ally is a good version of Droid with solid landscape keyboards being very "clicky" and easily usable. Promoting the Iron Man movie and coming as an limited edition, we don't know who's gonna choose for this one over the Incredible or the Droid, even if it is rumored to be a good bargain price ($99).
We should take a look over its full specs:
- Android 2.1 with Google Experience
- 3.2 inch touch display
- slide-out QWERTY keyboard
- 3.2 MP camera with autofocus and flash
- 512 B ROM, 256 MB RAM memory
- 4 GB microSD
- Qualcomm MSM7627 600MHz processor
- 3.5 mm headphone jack
- Wi-Fi, S-GPS, aGPS
For an entry-level smartphone, it has decent specs and could make its own way through the others Android devices. We wonder for how long. So, if you like it, you have one day to decide making a pre-order. We let you know as we hear more infos. Stay tuned!
