You've probably read a lot of news recently about Motorola, due to the fact that the mobile division has been taken over by the giant Google. Now they are in the spotlight again with a new Android-powered smartphone caught in the wild.
The guys over at Engadget have obtained a set of photos with this huge handset that is known as the Motorola Droid HD that came alongside Droid Bionic. While precise specs haven't been unveiled yet, the Droid HD could be sporting a large 4.5-inch display (probably a qHD), an 8 MP camera on the back with 1080p video recording capability completed with a secondary front-facing cam for video chat.
Powered by Android Gingerbread, the upcoming smartphone will include also a pair of side loading SIM and microSD slots on the left side plus HDMI-out port. According to Engadget, this new Motorola Droid HD will feature a super thin design with a depth to be between 8.5mm and 9mm, which could be almost identical as Samsung's Galaxy S2 measuring 8.49mm.
Still unconfirmed, these details about the mystery super phone remain rumors, so we'll have to wait for more details, specs and images to make an impression about Moto's new handset. Stay tuned, cause we'll be posting again.
