Motorola Droid X2 could launch on May 26th Posted on: May 13, 2011 [Source]
Knowing that the Droid X2 was supposed to be launched, it is normal to be a little bit skeptic about this new information. The folks over at Droid-Life have managed to get their hands on some internal details about the handset, as well as its launch date.
A leaked internal document from Verizon indicated May 26th the release time for the Motorola Droid X2 with direct fulfillment orders starting on May 19th. As you probably know, the phone will have a 4.3-inch qHD display with a resolution of 960x540 pixels, a dual-core Tegra 2 processor clocked at 1 GHz, an 8MP rear camera that will capture 720p video plus 1080p HDMI-out video.
The big news is that the Motorola Droid X2 might launch running on the latest version of Android 2.3 Gingerbread, as the Droid-Life suggests. No pricing information were given in the Launch Package, but with May 19th just around the corner, we should be finding more soon.
