Motorola Milestone XT720 Posted on: June 8, 2010 [Source]
Despite the fact that June 7th was a crazy day with new iPhone 4's launch, we haven't forget about Android phones. And yesterday Motorola announced the Milestone XT720 for Europe, a QWERTY-less version of Milestone. The device looks exactly like the Motoroi and, as Engadget said, is "a sister phone" of it.
The Milestone XT720 sports a 3.7-inch display, 480X854 screen, a 550MHz ARM Cortex A8 CPU, an 8MP sensor for all camera lovers with built-in Xenon flashing capabilities, 720p/24 fps video, an included 8GB card and HDMI out.
As you probably expected, it runs Android 2.1, without any announced plans for an eventual 2.2 upgrades. Regarding an US version launch it is out of the question for the moment. It is expected the Euros' reaction for the device.
Apparently Motorola has big plans for this year. The folks over at Slash Gear had confirmation regarding company's intentions to push out nearly 20 "unique" Android based phones with until the end of the year. So, expect to see more!
