Motorola Olympus first shots emerge Posted on: November 23, 2010 [Source]
Because you particulary enjoy the rumors about Android phones, we couldn't skip this one. The leaked photo you see is supposed to be Motorola's upcoming Tegra 2 powered Android device, as the folks over at Engadget related. The name Olympus have been circulating over the internet for a while with no real proof. Not even now.
The tipster that sent pics of a new Motorola device to Engadget (and other tech blogs) didn't give any other details, leaving everyone to wonder if the Olympus is for real or not. At first glance, it looks like an impressive handset, ressembling the rugged Motorola Defy.
Motorola Olympus is believed to feature Nvidia's dual core Tegra 2 processor, running on Android OS, probably a 4-inch display (judging by the photo), a front-facing camera, dual-band WiFi a/b/g/n/ and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR support and that's about all that it could be guessed. All other details are unknown.
It seems that more dual-core phones are ready to hit the market. So, are we talking about a new generation of devices?
