Motorola XT300 slider Posted on: August 31, 2010 [Source]
Remember that mini Motorola slider we saw it way back in July in a blurry photo? We've been wondering if it will see the light again and that just happened. The German website, Mobiflip posted a new set of photos, more clear this time, along with video of the mini Android phone, called XT300.
Judging by what we see in the above picture, the device looks more like a Blackberry Torch 9800, but we could not also observe the design's resemblance of a Palm Pre. The appearance of the red Droid eye in the center of the display could indicate that this little phone might land on Verizon. But this is just a speculation.
Other interesting thing is the XT300 tag being used during the entire article which make us think that this will be the final name for the middle range device. Verizon could reserve the right of using the Droid name only for high-ends Android phones. If XT300 is correct, it means we're going to see a GSM version as well.
In the video (check out the source link) it can be clearly seen that the Motorola XT300 uses Moto Blur interface on top of Android OS, a slider keyboard looking pretty nice, no flash for the camera and a rear mounted trackpad. It look like a mid-range phone for what we can see, but watch out the photos and video and make your own opinion about this little fellow. Keep you updated if new infos emerge.
