Google: 550.000 Android activations per day

In a recent second quarter earnings report presented by the search giant, Google, the numbers show a growing for Android activations per day. 550.000 Android smartphones are being activated every day. The number is up compared to last month scores and probably still growing.

In June Andy Rubin announced that a half of milion devices were activated daily and were increasing at a rate of 4.4% per week. That's up to 50.000 from the last report. If the process continues in this positive note, Google could very possible be activating about one milion devices per day by the end of the year.

In terms of net income and revenue, the numbers have registered a 32% growth from the last year Q2's earnings. It seems that the things are going to a good path for Google. Increasing revenues, Android keep doing an excellent job, is anything else we could ask for?

ComScore: Android continues to growth in US
