Panasonic to introduce Android phones in the US

Chances to see Panasonic's Android phones out of its country are quite promissing. The company has reconfirmed their plans to sell handsets with Google's platform in North America and Europe too.
Apparently the japanese company is negotiating with a telecommuncation firm to bring the devices in Europe in early 2012, followed by a release in the North America also. No specific mentions about the European carriers, but the handsets will be probably landing to Vodafone, Orange or O2.
Is Panasonit trying to test the US and European markets to see if their Android devices will be successful or not in comparison with the Japanese market? We'll find out soon. Next year, the comapny will bring on the market an Android-powered tablet too.
