Panasonic to introduce Android phones in Europe next year

After announcing its plans to introduce Android phones in the US, Panasonic also said that it will expand its smartphone business for Europe too in March 2012. Their goals are to reach 1.5 milion smartphones next year in Europe and by 2016 to sell 15 miliion units annually.
No precise details were given about their first smartphones, but it will feature an ultra slim D-shaped design for easy portability. Moreover, it will include a 4.3-inch qHD OLED touchscreen and will be waterproof and dustproof.
Just like most Panasonic phones, it will be manufactured in an existing factory in Malaysia.
