Samsung Fascinate scheduled for September 9th launch?
Posted on: August 27, 2010 [Source]

We're about to see the Samsung Galaxy S family complete with the launch of the Samsung Fascinate coming very soon. While AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint have been announced their Vibrant, Captivate and Epic, Verizon decided to make a step ahead by pushing out the final US version of the Galaxy S. The news getting around the internet shows September 9th as a possible release date.

And if we take into consideration the fact that the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards (taking place on September 12th) are now officially sponsored by "Samsung Fascinate a Galaxy S phone", the announced date for launch might get a reasonable sense.

However, until we see that coming true, we should take a look at the training documents that the folks over the Boy Genius Report managed to get their hands on. According to the information received from their Verizon Ninjas, the documentation confirms the well-known specs of the device.

The same as the Vibrant and Captivate, Samsung Fascinate will have that impressive 4-inch super AMOLED display, packing 1GHz Hummingbird processor, running Android 2.1 and having a 5MP camera on the back with 720p recording abilities. There are also infos about the Fascinate supporting ActiveSync for Exchange 2003, 2007 and 2010 servers. Check out the link to view all the goodies the phone has included.
