Samsung Galaxy S arrives in Asia and Europe this June
Posted on: May 28, 2010 [Source]

Samsung announced its first Android phone featuring a super AMOLED display, the Galaxy S, to launch this June in Asia, most likely next week. The price for this impressive handset is set for S$1,098 (around $775) free contract.

For the moment the Galaxy S will ship Android 2.1, but apparently Samsung said something about a coming soon upgrade of Android 2.2 (Froyo) version. If you want this one badly and you find yourself somewhere in Europe, it's good to know that Amazon's German website listed the device for pre-orders.

The price announced there is for 649 euros, about $800, so almost as it costs in Asia. Not so low, but a device like this one with a capacitive super AMOLED 4-inch display and a super attractive look worth all the money. Any thoughts in buying one?
