Xperia Neo Posted on: February 9, 2011 [Source]
When it comes to Sony Ericsson, a couple of Android devices come in our mind. Xperia X10 launched probably too late after so many buzz, Xperia Arc with an innovative design or Xperia Play, the playstation phone. What about this one?
The device you see in the picture was rumored to be called MT15i, Halon or Vivaz 2, but the final name it appears to be Xperia Neo, which is also a registered trademark made by SE back in December along with other phone names.
Of course, there is no official confirmation for the handset, but with MWC just around the corner, we will find out in a few days. The latest speculation come from the blog My Android Life who posted a series of videos with the new Xperia Neo and its capabilities.
The shots taken with the phone's 8.1 megapixel camera with auto focus look pretty clear and vivid in the light and by night, too. It will run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and, as the folks from the mentioned blog said, "is unbelievable how is moving".
We'll see about that as soon as we have more details, princing and launch date probably available week at Barcelona.
