Sony to focus on Android phones in 2012

An official statement about Sony buying Ericsson's share was announced back in October. This new deal will not affect the brand Sony Ericsson, meaning we'll continue to see SE smartphones released.
No more details were given back then, until today, when a "senior executive" from Sony offered us infos about Ericsson's future. According to him, the brand will no longer produce mobile phones starting with mid-2012.
Sony will focus on smartphones next year, targeting to become the number one Android phone manufacturer. Sometime, probably.
