Xperia Xplay 4G hits AT&T on September 18th

AT&T announced the 4G version of the first PlayStation certified-gaming device, Xperia Play to hit the market on September 18th for only $49.99 with a new two year contract. With the capabilities of an Android smartphone, the handset offers a real gaming experience for the fans.

The 4G-capable smartphone comes with a reasonable pricing for this carrier, knowing that Verizon offered the Xperia Play for $200 on contract at launch. Furtheremore, AT&T will arrive in an exclusive "stealth blue" color.

It will run Android 2.3.3 plus a 4-inch touchscreen, powered by 1GHz processor, Adreno 205 GPU, dual cameras: a 5MP rear cam plus a VGA front facing one with video recording and chat capabilities over Wi-Fi.
